Update or Bulk Update GST for Products

Overview

GST Pro allows you to update HSN codes and GST percentages for single or multiple products. You can edit products directly, apply bulk changes, or upload updates via CSV.

Update GST for individual products

Open product list

Go to GST Pro → Products in your Shopify admin.

Edit product

Select a product and update its HSN Code and GST Rate (%).

Save changes

Click Save. The updated GST details will apply to all future invoices.

Bulk update options

1. Bulk edit using CSV

Export CSV

Click Bulk Edit as CSV to receive a CSV file via email.

Update and re-upload

Open the file, edit HSN and GST values, then upload it back on the same page.

2. Apply same GST to all products

Use bulk edit for all

Click More → Bulk Edit for All Products.

Enter GST and HSN values

Add the desired GST Rate and HSN Code, then save to apply to all products.

3. Update by collection

Filter by collection

Use the Search and Filter options to select a collection (e.g., Men, Accessories).

Bulk edit filtered products

Click Bulk Edit Filtered Products and update GST and HSN for the selected products.

4. Check for missing GST or HSN

Find incomplete data

Use the Filter option and select Missing GST / HSN.

Review and update

Click Bulk Edit Missing GST and HSN to complete missing details for affected products.
